MRI Systems

The Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute's Jerome L. Greene Science Center (JLGSC) houses three research-grade MR systems, along with the laboratories and staff needed to support their application to both preclinical and human biomedical investigations. These systems are fully capable of MRI, multi-nuclear MRS, and fMRI, and are exclusively dedicated to research.

  • Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratories
    • Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, frequency synthesizers, waveform generators, RF power amplifiers, power supplies, volt-ohm meters, power meters, fluoroptic thermometers, infrared cameras, and a full set of hand tools, test leads, and calibration kits.
  • Machine Shop: Contains lathes, a milling machine, a board mill, drill presses, a 3D printer, band saws, table saws, cut-off saws, and a comprehensive tool chest.
  • Instrumentation Lab: Fully equipped with BIOPAC and AD physiologic monitors, stimuli devices, and other transducers to support both human and animal research on all MR systems.
